The execution of an embedded software/hardware design is an art that requires significantly different techniques from those needed by traditional hardware/software projects. This is because embedded projects are apt to have unique issues that pertain to function, cost, durability, the size of production runs, environmental issues and security and power requirements. All these factors and more must be accounted for in the design phase. Our team uses either Microsoft XP Embedded or Linux Embedded software. By leveraging our experience and expertise with them, we are able to expeditiously deal with these disparate elements.
